Morgan McGlashon is a ski mountaineer, and mountain guide from Jackson, Wyoming. Her innate curiosity and quest for adventure have led her around the world where she has discovered deep snow, big rocks, and lively people.
Morgan’s younger years were defined by spandex and blue ice amongst ski racers, but she was always happiest on the weekends skiing the steep trees and iconic cliffs that make up Jackson Hole. After ski racing for 15 years, in 2013, Morgan transitioned to competing on the Freeskiing World Tour where she received many podium finishes and began to explore the mountains in a world outside of gates. Eventually, big mountain free skiing led to ski mountaineering, alpine climbing, and a taste for more remote terrain.
Morgan has completed ski mountaineering descents in places such as the Tetons, Alps, Andes, Cascades, Wind River Range, Japan, and Iceland and she is the youngest female to ski the Grand Teton.
Morgan continues to live in her hometown of Jackson, WY where she pursues human powered adventures and works as a backcountry ski and climbing guide.
