Film Projects

Through the years, I have been fortunate enough to work with incredible brands, local organizations, and media companies to produce outdoor media. My favorite projects have always been around lifting up women, people with diverse backgrounds, or promoting an environmental or cultural story.

Skiing is fun, but for many, it’s not just sliding down snowy mountains that brings us joy. It’s the connections we share - with our people, with nature, with our bodies - that transcends sport and make skiing core to our very being. It’s time to celebrate those connections and the time we get to spend with our friends and families in the mountains.

In 2017, a eclectic group of skiers bonded by the idea of an artic adventure, traveled to the northern edges of Iceland’s Horstrandir Nature Reserve via sailboat. This film by Thomas Woodson gives a small glimpse of the wonders we encountered there.

Internationally recognized filmmaker and photographer, Krystle Wright, set out to make a short film about all of the badass women she knows in the outdoor industry who might not always be in the spotlight of the media. I was incredibly lucky to be included in the project.

Many people have skied the Grand Teton, but in fact there are not that many “beta” films about it on the internet. This is a gopro edit from April 2016 simply meant to be a visual representation of what skiing the iconic North American peak entails.

A great day of spring skiing on Buck Mountain (Grand Teton National Park)!

Another fun gopro edit from a day of skiing in Grand Teton National Park in the days when I skied 115mm underfoot every day of the winter, no matter the conditions!

With the Jackson Hole backcountry continuing to see increased use, Teton County Search and Rescue is amplifying its efforts to stress the importance of safe and responsible backcountry use. As the ongoing pandemic has created shifts in behaviors and added new stresses to everyone’s daily outlook, the Foundation is urging all backcountry users to be extra cautious, patient, and respectful

The story of John Colter is one that has resonated across nearly two centuries of western mountain culture. Inspired by his epic, Sawyer Thomas and his friends (I’m a friend here) set out on foot and ski to bring their own style to his famous exploration. Over the course of a 600 mile loop through the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, we found nothing short of great adventure.

“Monumental” is a film about skiing our National Parks. Grand Teton National Park is not only my backyard, but also where I learned everything I know about backcountry skiing, climbing, mountaineering, and simply moving through the mountains. I was happy to a part of the “Grand Teton” section of the film.

“Finding the Line” is a film by Fredrick Marmsater meant to portray what searching for a ski mountaineering line feels like. Filmed in the Mosquito Range of Colorado during the spring of 2016, this was one of the first “real” projects I was a part of as I was 20 years old when we made it.

This is a short film created by Dorian Densmore from a classic day of spring skiing in 2017 on the north side of Teewinot Mountain, Grand Teton National Park of course!
